USAID Monrovia

Liberia

July, 2007

The USAID mission in Monrovia, Liberia awarded Nova International a contract to furnish and outfit its offices with 33 workstations and 1 private conference room. With Teknion's TOS panel system, USAID Monrovia new floorplan allowed for maximum space usage while remaining spacious and organized.

The private conference room was created using TOS panels for privacy walls with panel doors for entry. By using modular panels, USAID Monrovia was able to avoid costly permanent construction. Two modular conference tables were used to create one large table for large meetings that could be separated for smaller meetings as well.

Despite local civil unrest during time of delivery and installation, Team Nova was able to complete the project on time and on budget. With a combination of Nova senior project managers, installation experts, and local labor teams, Nova's methodology of logistical organization and execution results on quick and efficient installations. The result is less downtime for the customer where operations are impacted with minimal disruption.
