DR Congo
August, 2006
In the midst of the first free democratic elections in forty years, Nova International was hired by USAID DR Congo to provide and install furnishings to their offices in Kinshasa.
Due to the nature of the local political climate, timing and efficiency was of the utmost importance. To safely and efficiently install the furnishings, the installation was pushed back a week until the civil unrest in the city subsided.
In addition to the timeline changes and work restrictions, serious changes to the floor plans were evident on arrival. To make the furnishings work as intended, Nova performed many on-the-spot changes.
Even with so many shifting variables, Nova delivered USAID DR Congo an office that exceeded their expectations and kept within their budget.
